Within the framework of Slovenia as the Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair, the Slovenian Book Agency, in cooperation with the Center of Illustration, will present the abundant world of Slovenian illustration to the international public. Across 80 m2, the exhibition will highlight works by ten award-winning authors, supplemented by the works of 32 authors from a broader selection. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue of 66 authors that showcases the creative vitality and the variety of creative styles of contemporary Slovenian illustration. The authors and works were selected by the expert committee of the Slovenian Book Agency, the exhibition was designed by Sara Badovinac and Sara Škarica (Sara & Sara), and the texts were written by Samira Kentrić. The exhibition is organised and produced by the Divja Misel Institute, which manages the Vodnik Homestead, the Center of Illustration, and the office of Ljubljana, UNESCO City of Literature.
