Participants: Stanka Hrastelj, Jedrt Maležič

Moderator: Martin Piekar

Jedrt Maležič and Stanka Hrastelj will be debating with Martin Piekar.

The two authors have already received several awards in Slovenia. In their brutally honest works, they often deal with issues of the human psyche and questionable treatment in psychiatric institutions. In their novels which were recently translated into German, the authors focus on women's destinies, which are historical but still very much relevant nowadays. These novels are Napol morilke (Almost Murderers) by Jedrt Maležič and Prva dama (First Lady) by Stanka Hrastelj. The conversation will be hosted by the renowned German author Martin Piekar.
