On the occasion of Slovenia's appearance as Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2023 and the 175th anniversary of the Slovenian national anthem Zdravljica, we invite you to the opening of the exhibition France Prešeren and Slovenian Romanticism, which will take place on Thursday, 14 September 2023, at 6 pm at the German Romanticism Museum in Frankfurt. 

The exhibition will present a selection of the earliest and most significant manuscripts and editions by France Prešeren and Luiza Pesjak kept at the National and University Library in Ljubljana, as well as the historical context of Prešeren's work and the important legacy the poet left to Slovenian and European culture.
